Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Also tables and figures are embedded and labeled.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Manuscript complies with category limits (word count, references, abstract)
  • Ethical approval and informed consent obtained.
  • Conflict of interest and funding statements included.
  • References formatted in APA style.
  • Abstract (English, 150–250 words) provided.
  • Manuscript submitted via the TPJ submission portal.

தமிழ் சைக்கியாட்ரி இதழில் மனநல மருத்துவர்கள், நரம்பியல் நிபுணர்கள் மற்றும் உளவியல் நிபுணர்கள் தங்கள் ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளை சமர்ப்பிக்கிறார்கள். மனிதனுக்கு ஏற்படும் உளவியல் சிக்கல்கள் மற்றும் மனநோய்களை பற்றியும், அதன் தீர்வுகள் பற்றியும், ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளை படைக்க எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ள முயற்சி என்பதால், மிகவும் கூர்ந்து கவனித்து எழுதுமாறு வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறோம். இந்த இதழானது பல்வேறு துறையினரையும் சென்றடையும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை இருப்பதால், அனைவரும் பயன்பட வேண்டும் என்ற உயர்ந்த கருத்தினை மனதில் வைத்து இந்த இதழ் வெளிவந்துகொண்டு இருக்கிறது. இதில் வரும் அனைத்து பங்களிப்புகளும் முறையாக சக மதிப்பாய்வு (peer review) செய்யப்படுகிறது. 

மேலும், இதழில் வெளியிடப்படும் ஆய்வு கட்டுரைகளில் உரிய மேற்கோள்களை காட்டுவதோடு, அதன் உரிமையாளர்களின் பெயர்களையும் இணைப்பதை (citation) அத்தியாவசியமானதாக வைத்திருக்கிறோம். 

இந்த இதழ் மூன்று மாதங்களுக்கு ஒருமுறை வெளியிடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இந்த இதழில் வெளியிடப்படும் கட்டுரைகள், முழுமையாகவோ அல்லது பகுதியாகவோ, எந்த வடிவத்திலும், எடிட்டரின் முன் எழுத்துப்பூர்வ அனுமதியின்றி மறுபதிப்பு செய்தல் கூடாது. இதழின் தேவைகளுக்கு ஏற்றவாறு சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட கட்டுரைகளில் தேவைக்குஏற்ப சில திருத்தங்களை செய்துகொள்ளும் உரிமையை அறம் மருத்துவமனை (publisher) கொண்டுள்ளது.
